As energy costs continue to bite, the Queensland Government has introduced a one‑off $350 Energy Bill Relief Payment to help eligible households manage rising electricity expenses. But time is running out applications close 31 May 2025. Here’s everything you need to know to secure this vital support.
What Is the $350 Energy Bill Relief Payment?
The $350 Energy Bill Relief Payment is a targeted, one‑off credit applied directly to your electricity account. It’s designed to ease cost‑of‑living pressures for Queensland households most in need—particularly concession card holders and low‑income families—by reducing their next power bill by up to $350.
This relief complements existing federal and state rebates, stacking on top of the $1,000 Cost of Living Rebate and the Commonwealth’s $300 Energy Bill Relief Fund instalments.
